The University and College Union (UCU) have announced plans for strike action in relation to changes to the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS). This will comprise a day of strike action on 30 November.
Under these circumstances we regret that the College may not be able to maintain a normal service and teaching schedules may be subject to cancellation by the lecturer. You should check your class timetable on your My Birkbeck profile on the day of your class (prior to setting off to travel to your class). If notification has been received that your class has been cancelled, a message will be displayed on your profile.
The College will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your programme is not unduly affected; if you have any concerns about access to materials or the delivery of the material to be covered in your programme please contact staff in your programme team for advice.
