London Transport Freedom Pass
Some disabled people living in the London area may be eligible for a London Transport Freedom Pass, which allows free travel on public transport; the borough where you live will be able to tell you if you are eligible.
Alternative transport schemes for students who cannot use public transport
If you have serious mobility impairment and difficulty in using public transport, you may be able to use subsidised transport schemes providing door-to-door transport:
Taxi from Birkbeck
You can ask an attendant at the reception desk to arrange for a taxi to travel home.
Disabled person's railcard
If you have a disability that makes travelling by train difficult you may qualify for the Disabled Person's Railcard.
