Orthopaedic chairs
We have a number of orthopaedic chairs for usethat can be moved to a specific computer workstation room if you need one for a class.
To find out where the orthopaedic chairs are currently situated, how to adjust them, or to request a chair be moved for a class in a computer workstation room, please contact Disability IT Support.
Adjustable-height tables
You will find these tables in the following computer workstation rooms:
- Room 402, Birkbeck main building: there is an electronic height-adjustable table that can be raised from standard height to a height suitable for working at when standing. This is located on your right as you enter the room.
- Room 321, Birkbeck main building: this room has a crank-operated height-adjustable table situated in the front row on the left of the aisle.
- Room 458a (assistive technology room): this room has one height-adjustable table.
