Printing from the wireless network

If you want to print to the Birkbeck printers from the WAM network, you will need to follow these steps every time you connect. Please note this is only possible on Windows PCs:

  1. Click on the 'Start' button then click 'Run'.
  2. In the 'Open' box, type: \\peach.birkbeck.ac.uk\wireless\printsetup.vbs (it is best to copy and paste this command).
  3. In the 'Enter Network Password' box, enter your ITS username and password (your username should include the domain - e.g. ccsacademic\ubaaop1).
    • This will silently install the printers for the ITS Workstation Rooms: MB413, 422, 423, and 536. Also included are the Library Open Area and Library Reference Area printers.
  4. Once complete, you can then choose which one you wish to use when you print, and you will be charged as usual.
