How to enrol on a programme (Certificate of Higher Education, undergraduate, postgraduate or MPhil/PhD degree)
If you're new to Birkbeck: Once you have accepted your offer of admission, and there are no outstanding offer conditions, you will be sent an email inviting you to enrol online.
The email will state that you are now eligible to enrol and will contain your new username and password which you will need to enrol online and access Birkbeck’s online facilities. If you have not received this email, you will not be able to enrol.
To enrol online for your chosen programme of study, you will need to set up your payment plan for that year, either by paying in full (by credit or debit card), by setting up a direct debit mandate to enable you to pay in instalments, or for those students who are eligible, by agreeing to apply for a government fee grant. You will also be able to pay further instalments or check your tuition fee account at any time via your My Birkbeck profile, accessed with your username and password.
Places are limited. You should therefore enrol as soon as possible in order to secure your place.
If you have forgotten your username or password, contact the ITS helpdesk.
Once you have enrolled, you will need to formally register; you will only need to do this once.
Continuing students: Congratulations on progressing to your next academic year at Birkbeck. You will be sent an email asking you to enrol on the next academic year of your course and either pay your fees or arrange payment for them as soon as possible.
