Assessment re-entry fees for non-enrolled students

If you have been asked to re-take an exam, re-submit coursework/dissertation/projects but will not be receiving teaching towards these assessments, you will be liable to pay a re-entry fee (sometimes referred to as the 'exams only' fee).

This fee is currently under review and the information below is what has been charged in previous years. It should be used as a guideline only. Updated fees will be published here as soon as they have been agreed, but the new fees will certainly not be any higher than the ones below.

Undergraduate Students - LLB/FD/BA/BSc (including Cert HE)

£75.00 per 30 credit module
£110.00 for two 30 credit modules
£140.00 for more than two 30 credit modules

Postgraduate Students - PG Cert & PG Dip/MA/MSc/MRes

£90.00 per 30 credit module
£160.00 for two 30 credit modules
£250.00 for more than two 30 credit modules

Research Students - MPhil/PhD

£200.00 for resubmission of a thesis for a MPhil student
£300.00 for resubmission of a thesis for a PhD student

Payment of the fee

You will be invoiced directly for the fee by post. This invoice is usually dispatched by post to your contact address around the Easter break and will contain information on how to make the payment.
