Visual arts diversity competition
As part of the launch of our new online ‘equality and diversity course’ we are holding a competition with the theme - what diversity means to me as a member of the Birkbeck community.
Entries may be photographic, artwork or illustration, film short or animation. The competition is open to all Birkbeck staff and students. To enter simply either:
- hand your entry in at the My Birkbeck Helpdesk in the main Birkbeck building
- send your entry marked 'Diversity Competition' to Human Resources, Birkbeck, University of London, Malet Street, London, WC1E 7HX
- email to diversity@bbk.ac.uk
A Flickr account will be set up shortly so that entries can be uploaded. Details of this will be available on Birkbeck's Human Resources' website
There are some fun prizes on offer including, vouchers for a Eurostar trip for two or camera/film equipment to the value of £200, membership to Tate Modern, an iPod and handmade chocolates.
The closing date for entry is 12 May 2010. Prizes will be awarded and a selection of entries will be exhibited at the launch event on 24 May, and after this will be on show within the College and online.
