Temporary Birkbeck entrance change

As part of ongoing building improvements and energy saving initiatives the Estates Department will be changing the main Torrington Square entrance doors from sliding doors to revolving doors.

This work will commence on Friday 9 September 2011, and it is planned to have the works complete for Wednesday 21 September.

For this period access to the Malet Street building will be by the old entrance on Malet Street (see below for map). The main reception will continue to be operational during these works.

There will be a period of noisy work while we are removing the floor to accommodate the door running gear. It is planned to carry out this work in the week beginning 12 September 2011. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
