Adult Learners' Week Achievement Awards

From 14 to 20 May 2011, Adult Learners’ Week will see events taking place across England.

In Stratford we are once again joining with the University of East London to hold our own special event, an Awards Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our hardworking students. Outstanding adult learners will be nominated by tutors and departments for their dedication and commitment to succeed. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday 18 May when our guest speakers will present the successful students with their awards and certificates.

At Birkbeck we are particularly aware of the dedication our students show in attending classes in the evening, often after a busy and tiring day. We hope that this event will give due recognition to those of you who have made that extra effort to achieve through learning.

The ceremony was a great success last year so we are looking forward to seeing nominated students at the event this year.
