Critical Thinking 2: Evaluating Academic Argument

This workshop will extend and build upon the critical thinking skills covered in the Critical Thinking I workshop. The basic critical thinking framework will be developed to demonstrate how complex arguments can be analysed and evaluated. You will also consider how to integrate your response to the reading into your writing, so as to avoid feedback such as ‘too descriptive, more analysis needed’. These skills will be linked to critical writing and critical reading skills.
