Mind mapping is a powerful thinking tool for use in all areas of your personal, professional and academic life. This workshop will consider what mind mapping is, why use mind mapping, when mind mapping might be useful and how to mind map. The focus of the workshop will be on using and developing your mind mapping skills to brainstorm a topic, organise an essay, to take notes from the reading or in lectures and to summarise a topic for revision purposes.
