Reading for academic purposes

Many students find it hard to cope with the quantity and complexity of academic reading that is required of them. This workshop will help you to identify your difficulties with reading for academic purposes. You will also consider the importance of and gain experience of using active reading strategies to help you cope with the quantity of reading expected at university, to increase your understanding and memory of the material, and to integrate your reading into your writing.
