Study Tools: PRACTISING Critical Thinking in the Arts and Humanities (Part 2): FINDING your Informed Voice

This workshop follows on from last week's session. However, IF YOU WERE UNABLE TO ATTEND LAST WEEK, YOU WILL NOT BE DISADVANTAGED since we will begin by reviewing what we have learned about critical thinking and establishing YOUR informed voice.

We apply critical thinking in an in-class experiement

In this session, we consolidate our understanding by practising on extracts which will be supplied in the workshop.

We examine three accounts of the same event. How do they differ? Why do they differ? Could we use any of these sources to back up an argument? If not, how COULD we use these sources in a critical discussion?

We experiment with finding out what is required to arrive at a critically informed view for the purposes of analysis in the Arts and Humanities.

This course is not currently timetabled. You can add your name to a waiting list if you are interested in attending at a future date.
