Eligibility criteria
You must:
- be enrolled on an undergraduate degree (i.e. BA, BSc, LLB), Foundation Degree or Certificate of Higher Education
- be a 'Home' student (check our residence requirements)
- have applied for and received a Government fee and/or course grant (if eligible)
- normally, meet the following income criteria:

- Either be in receipt of one of the following (means tested) benefits:
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit / Local Housing Allowance
- Income-Based Employment & Support Allowance
- Income-Based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income Support
- New Deal
- Or your gross annual income for the 2010-2011 financial year (i.e. your income before deductions) should be:
