Government Additional Fee Support Scheme (AFSS)
The Government provides additional funding, so that students receiving a fee grant that is less than their full fees can request a further contribution towards the balance of their fees if they are unable to pay it all themselves. (Please note: this is not an automatic process. You will need to put in a separate application for this.)
For 2011/12 this has become an online application. We will email eligible students details of how to apply, approximately 2-3 weeks after we have received a PTG1 Government Fee Grant for you from Student Finance England.
