ESRC Studentships 2012/13

The College, as part of the Bloomsbury Consortium led by the Institute of Education, has ESRC Doctoral Training Centre status.

The Bloomsbury Doctoral Training Centre brings together world-class social science researchers from the Institute of Education, Birkbeck, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the School of Oriental and African Studies to offer outstanding research supervision, cutting-edge research methods training and ESRC-funded studentships.

The College will therefore be inviting applications for the following ESRC-funded Doctoral Studentships, to commence from October 2012. Please click on each department for further information.

Psychology – 4 studentships

Economics – 2 studentships

Politics – 2 studentships

Health and Well-Being (psychological approaches) – 3 studentships

The deadline for consideration is 27 February.  Application is via a completed standard postgraduate Birkbeck application with an expression of interest in one of the advertised ESRC studentships.
