Undergraduate courses

The Management Department at Birkbeck promises you a great learning experience, with lecturers who are engaged in cutting-edge research and are passionate about their specialist research areas.

All of our undergraduate courses, whether full-time or part-time, are studied in the evenings. Teaching takes place during the week between 6pm and 9pm over three terms from October to June. This means you can continue to work while realising your educational ambitions.

We offer undergraduate programmes within the following subject areas:

We also teach a number of degrees in partnership with other academic departments.

Entry requirements

We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential.

Applicants will normally be expected to have grade C GSCE-level English and maths. Applicants who do not hold this level of qualification may be required to carry out a skills audit at a selection evening, which comprises maths and English. This audit assesses an applicant’s potential to cope with and benefit from a particular programme of study.

UCAS Tariff Points: 260

English language requirements for non-native speakers should normally be equivalent to IELTS 6.5.
