Currently we are one of a few universities in the UK to have recognised partner status with the CFA Society of the UK relating to IMC qualifications. The Investment Management Certificate (IMC) is the most widely recognised and established qualification of its kind in the UK. The IMC has been used by investment professionals, and is taken by staff in leading investment firms in the UK and overseas. The IMC is the industry's benchmark entry-level qualification and is approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). By studying “BSc Accounting with Finance" and "BSc Accounting and Management with Finance”, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the key theoretical ideas and issues in the finance and accounting field, and develop the analytical skills they will need to have a successful career in the finance industry. From the perspective of employability, the IMC-CFA route provides a globally recognised career progression path for our students to become investment professionals.
