Selection evenings

Once you've applied for your course , we will invite you to a selection evening at Birkbeck. You will be asked to take an admissions test with a mathematics paper and an essay question.

This test takes a total of 1.5 hours: 45 minutes for the mathematics questions and 45 minutes for the essay question.

The first selection evening is held in April and is followed by other selection evenings throughout the year.

Once a decision is taken on your application, we will contact you to let you know whether you have been accepted onto your course. If you are accepted, our Registry will send you a formal offer of admission

You will then be invited to an admission day.
