The deadline for submissions for the doctoral colloquium is 31 January 2016

To submit a paper to the AIB UKI main conference or doctoral colloquium please use the Conftool system:

  • Please create a new Conftool account or use an existing account:
  • Log into Conftool system
  • Click on “your submissions”
  • Select the type of contribution you want to submit
  • Please enter all required details for your contribution into the submission form (marked by asterisk) and proceed
  • A Contribution ID will be assigned to your submission, please use this number for future reference.


Palgrave edited volume

Following previous years there will be a Palgrave edited volume from the main conference. Authors who wish their work considered for this should follow the Palgrave house style guidelines (see below).

Paper submission guidelines

  • All papers should be submitted electronically as a Microsoft Word file or Acrobat file to the online submission system available here.
  • When uploading the document, make sure that the main body of the paper does not contain any author information. Details of authorship are entered separately in the submission system.
  • Papers submitted to the main conference must not exceed 26 pages, including tables and references.
  • An abstract of 150 words is required suitable for the book of abstracts.
  • All competitive papers will be double blind refereed.
  • Submissions must conform to the Palgrave style guidelines to be published in the proceedings and for consideration of the Palgrave edited volume from the main conference.

Number of submissions

No person may be a single author for more than three submissions for the AIB-UKI 2016 Conference. No person may be associated as a co-author with more than five submissions for the AIB-UKI 2016 Conference.

This rule does not apply to appearances in pre-conference activities (e.g. workshops, colloqium), invited appearances at plenaries, special sessions, or session chairs.
