Call for Papers

The Conference welcomes theoretical and empirical papers and thought pieces which respond to the issues and challenges of international business in a multi-speed global economy. As in previous years, it is hoped that the submissions will go beyond the Conference theme and encompass all major areas of international business, including:

  • Internationalisation from and to emerging economies

  • Global innovation and knowledge
  • Economic geography and international business issues
  • Economic development and international business issues
  • Areas studies and international business issues
  • Finance and international business
  • Human resource management and international business
  • Business history and international business issues
  • Institutions, governance, CSR and sustainability
  • Policy initiatives and relationships with governmental bodies
  • Comparative and international management
  • Research methods in international business

Proposals for special tracks and panel sessions are welcome and should be sent to aibuki2016@bbk.ac.uk. The following special tracks have already been proposed:

  • International new ventures and their post-entry international performance
  • International marketing knowledge and international entrepreneurship in a multi-speed world economy
  • Emerging African Transnational Corporations and African markets

Submitting

To submit a paper to the AIB UKI main conference or doctorial colloquium please use the Conftool system:

  • Please create a new Conftool account or use an existing account: https://www.conftool.pro/aibuki2016/
  • Log into Conftool system
  • Click on “your submissions”
  • Select the type of contribution you want to submit
  • Please enter all required details for your contribution into the submission form (marked by asterisk) and proceed
  • A Contribution ID will be assigned to your submission, please use this number for future reference.
