Research centres

Research centres at Birkbeck are set up after a rigorous and College-wide planning and development process to focus the research energies of the College on particular areas of public and academic interest and import.

We currently host three of these major research centres:

• Sport Business Centre
• Centre for Innovation Management Research
• Centre for Corporate Governance and Ethics

Each of these research centres draws on the expertise of colleagues across Birkbeck to provide cutting-edge research on topics of contemporary interest to business organizations and public sector institutions. Each centre carries a programme of relevant research projects, seminars and other events, and produces a variety of research outputs of interest to both the academic and practitioner communities.
