'As an international student, studying in a central London location was perfect. I was able to enjoy all the museums, galleries and theatres in the Bloomsbury area and meet people of different cultures and languages. This greatly enhanced my experience as a student.

'For my PhD, I not only developed research skills but also learned lots of other transferable skills such as time management and working with other people. The staff in the Department are very approachable and supportive. I had the opportunity to present my research at conferences and seminars and have published articles in international journals.'
