When you click on a database, you will be told what the service covers, whether or not the service gives you the full text of articles, and how to access the database from outside the College.

JSTOR - an archive of full text journals including the Art Bulletin, Art Journal, Burlington Magazine, Journal of the Warburg & Courtauld Institute, October, Oxford Art Journal & Woman's Art Journal.

- Index to Theses
- Nexis UK - for UK, US and European newspaper articles and exhibition reviews, artist profiles etc.
- Periodicals Index / Archive Online
- Project Muse
- Times Digital Archive - a digital facsimile of the Times newspaper from 1785 to 1985.
- ZETOC - British Library index of articles in their journal collection.

Digital images online:
- Artstor - a digital library of more than one million images in the arts, architecture, humanities, and social sciences.
- Carl Giles Trust Collection - artwork, files and related documents from the studio of the cartoonist Carl Giles.
- History of Art and Visual Culture - links to in-house and recommended online image collections.
- Visual Images Online - includes links to image collections on various subjects and general advice and guidance on using digital images for teaching and learning.
