Study spaces during the exam period May-June 2017

Study spaces during the exam period

In the coming weeks the Library will be very busy and, at times, completely full.

We know that library users can get frustrated when there seems to be no-one using a study space but books and belongings have been left to ‘reserve’ that place. However, we also understand that students do need to leave their desks from time to time to take a break. To help with this we are giving out specially designed cards to our users that can be left on a desk for up to 30 minutes, letting other students know when they will be back.

At the busiest times, we will also be encouraging students to use the ITS workstations rooms that are available in the Malet Street building and will be providing information, updated daily, on which of these rooms are free. Room 109 will be available throughout the coming weeks, although access will no longer be possible through the Library.

You can view real-time information about the availability of Library study spaces .

The Library provides a variety of study spaces from silent areas to bookable pods available for group work. You can find more information and can book a pod.
