Lecturers can place books, photocopies of book chapters and journal articles for particular courses in the Reading Room Collection. This is a separate collection on level 1. Items cannot be borrowed. The photocopies are held in a numerical sequence, prefixed by P/C (photocopy) e.g. P/C 4122. The books are arranged by shelfmark.

Items can be found on the catalogue by author and title (see Find a book by author and title).

Please note: if the item is a photocopy of a book chapter, the title on the catalogue is the title of the chapter not the title of the book, and the author on the catalogue is the author of the chapter not the overall editor of the book.
