Getting acquainted with BrowZine

BrowZine

BrowZine is a mobile app for tablets and smart phones that allows you to access and browse e-journals from our library's collection and open access sources in one interface.  You can also access it via its website at http://browzine.com/libraries/1200 . Remember, it is not a discovery tool like Discover where you search for articles, but rather a customisable interface where you can organise and monitor Birkbeck Library subscribed eJournals of interest to you.

BrowZine offers:

  • Scholarly journals formatted to be read on tablets
  • A customisable bookshelf where you can store and monitor your favourite journals by registering a BrowZine account
  • Alerts about new content availability
  • Bookmarking of articles for reading later
  • Citations can be saved to Refworks, Zotero, Dropbox, or Mendlely
