What does it cover?

  • Teachers TV, the acclaimed in-classroom video professional development website created by the UK Department of Education, is now live through Alexander Street Press.
  • Education in Video is the first online collection of streaming video developed specifically for training and developing teachers. Upon completion, the collection will contain more than 3,000 video titles totaling 1,300 hours of teaching demonstrations, lectures, documentaries, and primary-source footage of students and teachers in actual classrooms.
  • This release now provides 3,530 titles, equaling approximately 840 hours.
  • The Teachers TV content covers every possible subject area— Bullying, Behavior Management, ADHD in the classroom, Early Language, Secondary Maths, Art Workshop, Guided Reading, Primary Science, Dealing with Family Breakdown and more.
