What does it cover? 

• Part of the Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS), the British Crime Survey is a series of surveys from 1982 onwards. 
• As well as counting criminal incidents, it also contains extensive information about the victims of crime, the circumstances in which incidents occur and the behaviour of offenders in committing crimes.
