LADS Dyslexia Screening Software.

LADS is a dyslexia screening test available on our computers in the IT workstation rooms and the Library.

The test lasts about half an hour, and your result will indicate the probability of dyslexia. The categories are "high risk", "moderate risk", "borderline" and "low risk".

The test results are not revealed to you, but are sent automatically to the College Disability and Dyslexia Service. They will contact you by email to let you know your results and what you need to do next. Contact the College Disability and Dyslexia Service if you have any queries about the test: 

To get started with the LADS software:

  • Log on to a computer.
  • Attach your headphones and make sure they are working.
  • Click on the Windows Start Menu.
  • Type LADS into the search box.
  • Click on LADS Test Module and follow the instructions.
