Technology Enhanced Learning

The Centre for Transformative Practice in Learning and Teaching supports staff in developing the distinctiveness of Birkbeck degrees through using technology based on sound pedagogic principles. The use of technology to enhance and extend learning is rapidly expanding, and increasingly sophisticated use of technology in educational, social and business interactions has been transformative. Technology enhanced learning provides increasingly rich opportunities for people to go beyond simply retrieving information towards enhanced interaction, collaboration and innovation. The Centre supports staff in working with new methodologies and new technologies to transform learning, teaching and assessment.
