Student prizes

Each year the School awards a number of prizes to those students who have been particularly successful:

  • Hart Publications Prize: awarded to the student who has achieved the best result in Constitutional and Administrative Law
  • Helena Kennedy Prize: for the best critical essay or dissertation
  • LexisNexis UK Prize: awarded to the best student in any optional subject
  • Lovells Prize: for the best result in a Commercial Law subject, awarded to a penultimate year student
  • Oxford University Press Prize: awarded to the student who has achieved the best result in any core subject
  • Paud Hegarty Prize: for the best essay or dissertation on the subject of gender or sexuality
  • Pearson Publication Prize: for the highest overall degree result
  • Sweet and Maxwell Prize: awarded to four students for the best results in each of the four years
  • Wildys Bookshop Prizes: awarded to the students who have achieved the best result in Legal Methods and in Law of Obligations II
