  • 30 October 2009, opened the 7th Annual Conference of the Association of Legal Philosophy (ASOFIDES) at the University of Caldas, Manezales, Colombia.
  • 25 September 2009, The keynote speech at the XI Conference of the IberoAmerican Association of Political Philosophy, Bahia Blanca, Argentina.

Public lectures

  • Costas Douzinas participated in a 3-hour presentation and question and answer session with the Constiututional Court of Colombia on Thursday 5 November 2009 at the Palacio de Justicia, Bogota, on 'constitutional adjudication and human rights in an age of crisis'. The session was linked through video to 32 superior courts all over Colombia.
