Links with the legal profession

Following the ongoing success of the School of Law’s Judicial Conversation series, the school is launching in 2012 a Legal Practice Conversation series. The primary aim of this series is to provide students with first-hand insight into how law works in practice – beyond case law and textbooks!

The first conversation took place on 30 November 2012 at Birkbeck: Noel Arnold, Partner Philcox Gray & Co and former Policy Officer at the Ministry of Justice

This initiative reflects a commitment by the school to extend its existing links with the profession in order to complement the teaching of law by academics and to provide students with an opportunity to ask questions about working in the law.
