About us

Welcome from the Head of Department

'The Department of Law is a leading critical law school in the UK, producing research of the highest quality since its inception in 1992. We offer courses including certificates, degrees, and PhDs. Each is tailored to meet the needs of flexible learning, informed by innovative legal research.

Today, the Department of Law is home to a community of around twenty-six dedicated academic staff who foster a supportive environment for legal studies at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

The School of Law is a top 10 research institution in the UK and top 3 in London, according to the Times Higher Education Research Intensity Rankings (2014).'
