Help and guidance

We are here to help you get the most out of the services we provide. This includes helping you join online teaching events. 

Online support

Just ask us a question at www.bbk.ac.uk/ask. Birkbeck staff should use Ask in My Birkbeck for staff.

Telephone support

Phone us on extension 3456 (inside Birkbeck) or +44 (0)20 3926 3456 (outside of Birkbeck). We recommend raising an ASK request if you are unable to reach us.

Phone lines are open Monday to Friday:

  • 9am to 8.30pm during term time
  • 9am to 6pm during vacations.

Saturday:

  • 9am to 3pm during term time.

Face-to-face support

The IT Service Desk is located in the open access area on the first floor of the Birkbeck Library (main Malet Street building).

Opening hours are Monday to Friday.

During vacations:

  • 12pm to 2pm.

During term time:

  • 12pm to 2pm
  • 4pm to 6.30pm.
