Some of our services are predominantly for staff, including the telephone service; our Computer Account Registration System, which is used for managing computer accounts (including those for students); desktop support for staff in central Administration, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Lifelong Learning; and support of the MIS applications (including the Finance, HR and Student systems). Some facilities are also provided for staff in teaching rooms, including the Apreso lecture capturing system.
Staff can also receive information, advice and practical technical help with problems caused by disabilities, dyslexia or ill health, including RSI (repetitive strain injury) and advice is available on how to produce accessible teaching materials, see Disability IT Support pages.
