14:00 UPDATE: Please accept our apologies – the work being carried out this morning has taken longer than predicted – we hope this work will be completed by 15:30.

In preparation for the annual SITS upgrade that we are required to apply by the software vendors (in order to stay supported) this year we need to carry out some preparatory work on the server, which will require two separate periods of downtime, when the live SITS database and related functionality will be unavailable.


We intend to carry out his work on the forthcoming two Tuesdays:-


Tuesday 21st - services unavailable from 07:00 to 14:00

Tuesday 28th - services unavailable from 22:00 to 10:00 Wednesday 29th


Please note that a full day of service unavailability is required for the actual upgrade, which is currently expected to be 9th December.

SITS client and online, My Birkbeck Profile, Be Birkbeck, Online Enrolment, Online Admissions, Applicant Portal, TRM GURU, Birkbeck Student Information Portal, Timetable Kiosks and Bizagi - will all be unavailable during this time.
