IT training for staff

In addition to the termly programme of workshops, staff may request access to introductory online training for MS Office, arrange specific training for small groups or have individual training.

Online

IT Fitness materials are available from any web-connected computer through the College's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), covering the basics of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and file management. All staff are welcome to access this material via Blackboard or directly at http://app1.its.bbk.ac.uk/xerte/play.php?template_id=65 (and you are invited to link to this material from your own Blackboard courses if you think it useful).

All students and staff also have access to Lynda.com, a library of training videos and tutorials covering a wide range of software, technology and business topics. Students and staff can take advantage of free 24/7 access to the entire library of training.

In groups

Training can be organised for small groups if required, subject to there being a room available. Please contact the help desk to arrange a time.

Individually

We are happy to see individual staff members either to discuss their training needs or to arrange short sessions on key software. Please contact the User Support Manager in the first instance.
