Conceptualising citizenship and its relationship to education and other relevant policy and practice domains, including community involvement, immigration and nationality. Members of the centre collectively have expertise in relation to the following: deliberative democracy, civil society, NGOs and voluntary sector, social capital, human rights, intercultural education, diversity and identity, curriculum and policy development – across all sectors (early years, primary, secondary, post compulsory, higher education, adult education, initial and continuing teacher education, community-based) globalisation, anti-racism, immigration.
