Graduate Research Symposium

Date: Monday 16 March 2015 Time: 2.00pm to 5.00pm Venue: Room 101, 30 Russell Square

The Graduate Research Symposium will take place on Monday 16th, please note the revised start time of 2.00pm. We have a great programme ranging from two perspectives on the practice of widow burning in 19th century India to funeral epigraphy in the Bosporus in late antiquity, studying soldiers in the Boer war and controversies about education in Bradford in the 1980s. We very much hope you will come along to hear the latest exciting research by students in the department. Refreshments are of course provided and if anyone would like to join us for a drink afterwards to continue the discussions, you are very welcome.

Abstract will be posted on the departmental website very shortly.

Looking forward to seeing all those of you who can come,

Simon Jarrett and Danae Karydaki
