The ARCHIves project organises a series of international workshops and conferences, including papers by invited speakers as well as presentations by the team members about the progress of their research. This series of events is closely tied with the scope of the project: each of the project's six themes will be discussed in at least one workshop, and every event brings together specialists of different Italian archives; experts of the history of non-Italian archives bring in a wider comparative angle. The ARCHIves project also runs a reading group on the subject of archives, record-keeping and the materiality of historical sources together with the Archives/Museums/Heritage research group in the Department of History, Classics and Archaeology. We welcome suggestions! For more information, to reserve a place, or to suggest a topic or paper, please write to italianarchives@bbk.ac.uk
