BA FSA MIFA Degree in archaeology/anthropology University of Toronto. Postgraduate student British Prehistory University of Sheffield.

Took part in excavation throughout the British Isles from Orkney to Dartmoor. Assistant Director Chesterfield Archaeological Unit, Director of the SW London Archaeological Unit. Area Officer with the Department of Greater London Archaeology, Museum. Chief Archaeologist Arkeologikunsult, Sweden. He Has been teaching for Russell Square since 1977.

Scott is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, London, Member of the Institute of Field Archaeologists and Fellow of Society of Antiquaries of Scotland
