Completed PhD in GIS applications for risk analysis and cartography of debris flows in Southern Italy. Also worked as a Research Associate on a European project on GIS-assisted modelling of volcanic hazards and impact analysis of explosive volcanic eruptions in highly urbanised areas of the European Union. Currently working at the National Space Agency in Buenos Aires, Argentina, involved in the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters and in projects focused on remote sensing of snow cover and glaciers.
