Assessment

Each of the 4 taught modules has a weight of one and will be assessed by:

  • an assignment (40%) 
  • a discussion board portfolio (10%)
  • a seen written exam paper (50%)

The research module (GISc 05) has a weight of two and consists of:

  • a design development project (20%)
  • the dissertation (80%)

The module weights are used to determine the overall degree classification (distinction, merit, pass, fail) of your award (MSc, PG Dip, PG Cert).
