MPhil/ PhD research degree

Our MPhil/PhD programmes aim to train you to conduct research of the highest academic standard and to make an original contribution to the subject through your thesis.

Research students follow a programme of study that is supervised by leading experts in their fields. You will benefit from a range of subject-specific and generic research training courses. You will also have opportunities to attend and contribute to a variety of research seminars and other activities organised within the Department and by various research centres.
