EU Code Week at Birkbeck – Coding Workshop
When:
—
Venue:
Birkbeck Main Building, Malet Street
Europe is celebrating the coding as a part of EU Code Week from the 5th until the 20th of October, 2019. “EU Code Week is a grassroots initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way…”
Here at Birkbeck, we are joining in this celebration and we encourage anyone who is curious about what coding is to join us in an hour session and learn how fun coding can be.
You will learn some of the essential programming skills that developers use in their jobs daily. For example, you will get an opportunity to learn conditionals and loops by building a friendly chatbot using the programming language Python.
Perhaps you will find out how coding can help you with your current studies or your current job. So join us in the celebration of coding. After all, it is does not cost you anything except of an hour of your time.
