This workshop will extend and build upon the critical thinking skills covered in the Critical Thinking I and 2 workshops. The focus will be on advanced critical thinking skills – in particular, what is meant by a sound academic argument, and how to construct a sound academic argument – so as to avoid feedback such as 'good knowledge and understanding, but where is your argument'. These skills will be linked to critical writing and critical reading skills.
