Are you interested in children's and young people's learning, their development, mental health and emotional well-being? In the application of psychology to education? Perhaps you work (or would like to work) with children and young people and would like to attain a relevant undergraduate degree that would prepare you for a wide range of careers?
If your answer is yes, attend our Taster Evening to find out more about Birkbeck's undergraduate programmes in Psychology for Education. At the Taster Evening, you will learn about Birkbeck's BA and Foundation Degree in Psychology for Education and get a taste of what it’s like to study in one of the UK’s leading Psychology departments.
This event will include:
- A welcome reception, with refreshments
- A course overview
- A taster lecture, giving you the chance to experience the course first-hand
- A question and answer session with the course team
The Taster Evening will provide you the opportunity to speak to tutors one-to-one and discuss if our programmes will help you to achieve your aims. Graduates from these programmes have gone on to successful careers in a wide range of professions such as teaching, as mentors, in specialist support, in family support and as education managers in a variety of settings. Join us and decide whether our programmes are right for you.
