This workshop can help you structure your ideas by focusing on paragraph structure and signposting language.
Good academic writing leads the reader through your argument; this workshop will help make your writing flow, by focusing on paragraph structure, cohesion and signposting language. We will also address other ways of joining paragraphs and connecting ideas.
This workshop will repeat on Saturday 14th September and Tuesday 17th September.
Please note these workshops are open to Birkbeck College students only.
The Get Ahead, Stay Ahead (GASA) series of workshops is primarily targeted at new students beginning their studies in 2019-2020, though any Birkbeck students may attend.
Study skills workshops for all students also run throughout the academic year.
